The Chêneau brace
Treatment of a larger curve usually starts with a custom brace. Ours are made on site, on an order refunded by the NFZ – and personalised supplies make therapy more effective.
- measuring: a plaster cast of the trunk, from which the mould and the brace are made
- after a month of wear – corrective pads fitted precisely against the rib hump
- a doctor’s check every 3 months
Insoles and footwear
We choose insoles and rehabilitation footwear from a posture lab examination (computer podoscope and videography). Cupped insoles correct flat feet and heel valgus well. We also stock preventive children’s shoes – leather, with a Thomas heel and support above the ankle, made to take insoles.
